Our New House!

So we finally got all moved into our new house. We decided to have a little BBQ on Saturday, so it forced us to finish up the last little bits. Let's not lie I stayed up late Friday night and got up early Saturday morning to finish getting rid of the last of the boxes that I had shoved into the back bedrooms. We absolutely love our house. It's kind of crazy that we have our own house. Every now and then, Devin will look over at me and say, "Hey, this is our house." So It's time that I post pictures of our new house.

Poor Devin has been working so hard on a project for the State of Idaho. He's been on the phone/computer pretty much every spare minute for the last week as he's been finishing it up. I took these pictures right before people started showing up for the BBQ and he was still at it. Hopefully he'll be done with it by the end of this week.

Reading/Drawing Room
 Maybe now that I'm done with school and we are all moved in I'll be able to actually start drawing again. We'll see if I actually get anything done. Turns out I'm pretty beat after work these days.

We scored a crib, pack and play, and a rocking chair last Saturday at yard sales/craigslist. We haven't started decorating or anything. We have a few things that people have given us since we found out we were expecting. We should find out in the next few weeks if it's a boy or girl.

The bad news is that the curtains that the curtains that we had in the apartment are almost the exact same color as the walls. I still need to work on decorating this room. It looks a little bare.

Devin and I spend the day yesterday mounting the TV to the wall and routing cords through the walls. We still need to find a better entertainment center than our cheap book case. But it'll have to work until we find something at a yard sale or craigslist, because I'm not going to spend $200 on one.

After everyone left Saturday we started planning the wiring for the TV and decided that in order to do what we wanted to we needed back access. So we may have knocked out the wall...
